VACATION FROM HUNGER—we are still collecting food for the Family Pathway’s program to feed children who are home for the summer. During the month of August, please bring a can of tuna fish. Thanks.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS! The Outreach Team is looking for any pictures you may have of church activities during the past year for our new church directory. Pictures may be emailed to kolson@sharingchristslove.org, or dropped off at the church office. Deadline for submitting pictures is Sunday, September 14th. Pictures will be returned on request, please label with your name.
SECOND ANNUAL TASTE EVENT will be held at Running Aces Thursday, August 28th from 5-8pm to benefit the YSB. Tickets are on sale at the YSB for $20/person $25/at the door. Participants will be able to sample food from 20 local restaurants. Raffle tickets with wonderful prizes.
CHISAGO COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES in North Branch is asking you to consider purchasing extra school supplies for children in foster homes who are not eligible under any program for funding for these supplies. Items most needed: pens, #2 pencils, notebooks, folders w/ pockets, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks and of course backpacks. A box will be in the narthex for donations. Thanks!
FOR OUR GOD’S GATHERING KIDS we also need supply items for fall, including glue sticks, new crayons, colored construction paper, and washable markers, OR, if you would prefer, a gift card from Walmart, Michael’s, JoAnne’s or Target to purchase miscellaneous items as needed or supermarkets for food stuff.
